The Story

This is the cap only, 2L shaker flasks are sold separately

With an inverted cap there is no need for costly peristaltic pumps or vacuums, simply flip the flask over and let gravity do the work. Using gravity in addition to being cost effective also is gentler on cells than mechanical pumps. They are are ideal for applications where cell viability is a must e.g. stem cell therapies. 

  • Attached inverted transfer cap - simply flip over to move liquid
  • 1 cap per double wrapped, sterile bag -  4 caps per case
  • Fits Nest brand 2L Erlenmeyer shaker flasks
  • Cap made of USP grade VI virgin polypropylene
  • Single piece cap - no risk of leaks or contamination
  • Attached thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) external transfer tube
  • No attachment hardware included, tubing comes heat sealed to ensure sterility
  • TPE tubing supplied by St. Gobain
  • TPE tubing weldable and compatible with a wide range of tube welders
  • 50cm long external TPE transfer tube
  • 1/4 " Internal diameter
  • 7/16"  External diameter
  • Vent tube comes with pre-attached filter for sterile gas exchange
